3. Cancelled Transactions

The users can get the Cash App refund immediately for canceled transactions. If a merchant or recipient cancels the transaction, the refund goes to the Cash App balance or source account. The transaction made with the Cash App wallet is fast, and refunds are quick in such cases. 

 

How to submit a refund request on Cash App?


1.         Open your Cash App log into your account.

3.        Now, select the particular transaction for which you are seeking a refund.

4.        Click on the three-dot button and tap on the Refund option.

5.        The recipient will receive your refund request. 

 

Why is my Cash App refund not showing up?


Cash App refund requested, and you are awaiting the refund. If your refund is showing up in your account, it means, the refund is yet to be processed. As discussed above, there is a specific time for different refunds based on the mode of payment and other factors. Cash app merchant refunds may take up to 10 days to settle the payment. Similarly, debit card or credit card payments can take up to 5 days to refund. However, Cash App transactions made with wallet balance are refunded instantly.

 

Therefore if your Cash App refund request pending, then wait for the prescribed time. If it delays and goes beyond the prescribed time, then you should approach customer support. 

  

Conclusion

The refund on Cash App may take 3 to 10 business days to settle the payment. However, the Cash App refund time depends on various factors as described above.
